1.Word of Mouth

Remember in grade school how you found out the juiciest gossip. Who liked who or who was going to Jimmy's birthday party and where it was at. Or finding out what the teacher said to Sarah out in the hallway?? Well if you can remember back that far it was most certainly through the mouth of a fellow classmates. That's how it as been since mankind has been around. Communication at first had to be spread through talking. Before email, paper or telephones if you wanted to tell someone something you has to physically go to them and tell them. (thank God we don't have to do that anymore!!!!)

2.The Book

Books were one of the first methods of research. And the ability to research goes hand and hand with the media. You cannot put out any media without some sort of facts behind it. now and days if you h=want to find out something you don't reach for the encyclopedia you go for google!!! But there was a time where you had to get all your info from books. Now all books are good for are paperweights and if you don't have a TV. I do enjoy the knowledge books give us. But not all people get books.........lol

Wall Cave Paintings

Wall Paintings told stories. They express more about the past than any old writings cold ( well maybe not..). But they are a old form of media. What does the media do??? It tells you stories on what is current it informs you of what is going on in our world around us. These cave paintings did the same things. After a big hunt people would go to the cave paint it on the wall and then boast about the the hunt with pictures. And even know the cave paintings are still educating us on old society's.
